Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or one year as a Medical Assistant
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Knowledge of EMR systems and basic medical terminology

Responsabilités

• Take patients to rooms and obtain vital signs
• Assist with medical procedures and phlebotomy
• Obtain lab specimens and maintain EMR documentation
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
• Greet patients and schedule appointments
• Answer phones and perform clerical tasks
• Process prior authorizations and billing/coding
• Handle faxing and related admin duties
• Support FMLA paperwork as needed
