Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in clinical settings, performing vitals, histories, venipuncture, wound care, and basic EKG. The role emphasizes patient flow, documentation, and high-quality patient interactions.
Responsibilities include exam preparation, administrative tasks such as check-in/out, and acting as a liaison between departments to support exceptional patient care. CPR/BLS certification required; EMR experience preferred.

The Medical Assistant will assist physicians in their offices or other medical settings. In accordance with respective state laws, the Medical Assistant performs a broad range of administrative and clinical duties. Provides direct patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel. Reporting Relationships Reports directly to the Director.
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
