Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a Neurosurgery and Spine practice with patient-first care. You will help manage patient flow, assist during visits, and coordinate care in a fast-paced specialty setting.

This full-time onsite position offers a daytime schedule, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to collaborate with a skilled care team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience.
• Preferred: National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient patient flow throughout the practice.
• Assist during office visits, including rooming patients and supporting examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.
• Perform clinically appropriate care coordination tasks, such as general patient guidance, test results, prescription refill support, and related follow-up needs.
• Maintain neat, clean, organized, and safe patient care areas.
• Interact with patients and families in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.

Job Summary

Location: 4 Centennial Drive, Peabody, MA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Join a collaborative Neurosurgery and Spine practice where your clinical skills, attention to detail, and patient-first approach help create a smooth, supportive experience for every patient. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping the practice running efficiently while working closely with providers, patients, and families in a fast-paced specialty care setting.
