Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• Two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces accepted.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• Healthcare experience (6 months)
• Medical Assistant experience (6 months)

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. Or
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. Or
• Coursework/Training Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
• Coursework/Training Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Or
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

Compensation

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
