Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, or NPs with exam room prep, patient flow, and charting in our Hartford-area clinics. You will assist with vitals, patient preparation, and accurate entry of information into the EHR and PMS.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; BLS is preferred. Travel to satellite locations may be required; English communication skills are essential.

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians, PA, or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care, and procedures.

Physical mobility, which includes movement from place to place on the job, taking distance and speed into account.
Physical agility, which includes the ability to maneuver the body while in place.
Dexterity of hands and fingers.
Endurance (e.g. continuous typing, prolonged standing/bending, walking).
