Job summary

MercyOne Silvis is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support an OB-GYN practice. You will assist physicians, prepare patients, collect vital signs, document encounters, and help coordinate patient flow to ensure a smooth, positive experience.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; MA certification/registration is preferred before hire and required within one year. Work is full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks.

Pay Range

$18.25 - $27.37 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
