Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Pediatric Medical Assistant (MA) for a full-time role. Hours are Monday–Thursday 7am–7pm, Friday 7am–5pm, with rotating Saturdays, and occasional travel to other sites.

The position offers an hourly pay range $20.29–$29.42 with on-the-job training provided. CPR certification is required; prior MA accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.

Position Highlights

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm alternating times, Fridays 7am-5pm and rotating Saturdays 7am-2pm
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs

What you will do

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
