Schedule: The MA shifts vary based on the providers’ clinic hours each day. Each MA at our clinic is assigned to a provider; therefore, MA scheduling will mirror the provider they are working with.

Office Hours
  • Monday -Thursday: 8am-7pm
  • Friday: 8am-4:30pm
  • Saturday: 8am-12pm (All team members are required to work at least (1) Saturday a month.)
Shifts
  • 8am-4:30pm
  • 8am-5pm
  • 8:30am-5pm
  • 11am-7pm (required to work one evening clinic/week)
Pay Range

$22.90 - $34.35

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:

  • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.

Our experienced team provides comprehensive pediatric primary care for children, ages birth through their high school years. Our street address is 1945 W. Wilson Ave., Chicago, IL. Our dedicated team of pediatric experts offers a broad range of services that support children through their developmental milestones. Services include preventive care such as vaccinations and well-child visits, school physicals, acute care visits, and guidance for nutrition and behavior development. With a family-centered approach, our peds team offers personalized care.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
  • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
  • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
  • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
  • Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
  • Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
