Job summary

MercyOne is hiring for a Part-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN at New Hampton Clinic in New Hampton, IA. The role supports a clinical practice with patient preparation, vital sign collection and basic procedures, while maintaining accurate records and patient flow.

The position requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN program with Iowa licensure; MA certification preferred within one year. Per Diem hours, day shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Accredited Medical Assistant program completed.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred before hire and required within one year.
• LPN program completed with Iowa license.

Description:Position: Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN: New Hampton Clinic

Location: New Hampton, IA

Schedule: Per Diem hours per week, Day shift, M-F

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Required:

• Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

OR

• Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.
