The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, with 1+ year of MA experience, comfortable with EMR/EHR systems, immunizations, venipuncture, EKGs, and basic lab duties, while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 100 days of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience administering medications and immunizations under provider supervision.
• Ability to perform EKGs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Prior outpatient or clinic-based experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).

Aufgaben

• Answer phones, triage calls, and assist with front office functions as needed.
• Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients per the provider's direction.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
