Trinity Health's Clinton Pulmonology in Clinton, IA is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) for a full-time role. The position supports clinical practice operations with patient prep, vital signs, documentation and basic procedures. Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift, M-F.
Requires an accredited Medical Assistant program. MA Certification/Registration is preferred before hire and must be obtained within one year.

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position will be primarily responsible for lab collection and lab testing. They will backfill the offices when available.
