Job summary

UT Primary Care Hardin Valley, part of University Physicians' Association, Inc. (UPA), seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient-centered primary care team in West Knoxville. This full-time role supports providers and ensures a smooth patient experience.

You will work Monday–Friday with evenings and weekends free, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package while joining a collaborative clinic that values teamwork and quality care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced clinic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior clinical experience (CNA, CMA, MA, or LPN) is a plus.
• Previous medical office experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers to assist patient care.
• Room patients and obtain vitals.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Assist with minor procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and prior authorizations.
• Obtain pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs.
• Communicate test results.

UT Primary Care Hardin Valley is seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient-centered primary care team. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while working in a supportive, collaborative clinic located in the fast-growing Hardin Valley area of West Knoxville.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our providers to ensure a seamless, compassionate patient experience. Daily responsibilities include:
