Job summary

Arizona Pain is seeking a proactive Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in a busy pain management clinic. You will prep patients, document visits, assist with procedures, and help maintain smooth clinic flow in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include room prep, injections, charting in EMR, scheduling, and handling calls and orders. Requirements include completion of an accredited MA program and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completed an accredited MA certificate program.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our busy pain management clinic. As a vital member of our care team, you'll support Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants by preparing patients, documenting visits, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic flow.

You’ll record and update medical histories, schedule appointments, and perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, checking vitals, and giving IM injections.
