Job summary

ProMedica Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Neurophysiology department in Perrysburg, OH. In this role, you will be the patient-facing link in a patient-centered care model, communicating with patients and staff to support safe, efficient visits and accurate data collection.

You will obtain vitals, document visit reasons, and relay information to providers and nurses. A high school diploma and CPR certification are required, with CMA/RMA preferred to enhance clinical support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, peers and health care team to coordinate care.
• Collect patient vitals and document visit reasons.
• Support clinical excellence and safety in the office setting.
• Answer patient phone calls and relay messages for providers or nurses.
