ProMedica in Dundee is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care in an internal medicine setting. This role focuses on compiling patient data, obtaining vitals, and communicating with patients and the health care team to ensure a safe, efficient visit.
In this position, you will work with providers and nurses, document the reasons for visits, and relay messages as needed. A strong emphasis on clinical knowledge and compassionate care guides daily work in this role.

A ProMedica Medical Assistant is a key member of our patient centric care delivery model. In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care. This person in this position provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence. Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team. You will show your clinical knowledge outside patient rooms as well when answering patient phone calls and relaying messages for providers or nurses.
