Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide compassionate nursing support across locations. The role requires traveling to Crabapple on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and to Johns Creek on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. You will assist physicians and the care team in a busy outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of healthcare experience and BLS certification, with color vision screening as required by unit. Typical hours are 8a-5p, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units.

This position will require travel to the Crabapple location every Tuesday and Wednesday and the John's Creek location every Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Qualifications
