Job summary

LifeWorks Wellness Center in Clearwater, FL seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality treatments under practitioner guidance and strict protocol. This full-time role supports a leading integrative medicine practice with a broad patient base.

Responsibilities include patient intake, treatment prep, charting, and ensuring safety and compliance. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a minimum of 1 year experience OR 3 years MA experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily setup and prepare equipment.
• Greet patients and verify treatment information.
• Ensure doctor orders and consents are up to date.
• Educate patients on treatments and importance of consistency.
• Track patient schedules to maintain adherence to care.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes in charts.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and seek intervention when needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitized treatment environment.
• Manage daily schedule to minimize delays.
• Ensure confidentiality and compassionate care.
