Spero Health, Inc. in Altoona, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our integrated care team. You will support scheduling, patient intake, vitals, and coordination with counseling and treatment services to help save lives and restore relationships.

Responsibilities include checking in/out patients, performing urine drug screens, inputting information into the EHR, and assisting clinicians with exams. CPR certification and MA training required; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• 1–3 years as a Medical Assistant or similar role preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient appointments and manage intake processes.
• Answer incoming calls and manage voice messages.
• Check patients in/out and monitor flow.
• Perform urine drug screens and take vital signs.
• Assist with patient evaluations and document in EHR.
