Job summary

Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join Springfield Medical Assistant School. You will mentor and teach in a hands-on lab environment, guiding students toward entry-level medical assisting careers.

The role requires CMA/RMA/CCMA, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of 5 years of medical assisting experience. Classes are mainly on Saturdays, with some weekday evenings, in-person at our Springfield locations.

Qualifications

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll inspire future healthcare professionals by combining your medical expertise with your ability to guide and mentor students through practical, hands-on education.

Instructor positions are part-time with classes held primarily on Saturdays between 7:00am - 6:15pm. (Note: teaching schedules may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability. Some locations may offer weekday evening classes).

Our focused, 18-week program is designed to provide accessible, hands-on education to students from all walks of life. Classes take place directly in a doctor’s office rather than in a traditional classroom—allowing students to learn in the environment they will eventually work in. Instructors will use their clinical experience and training to teach our students the skills they need to succeed as entry-level medical assistants.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ YEARS (including months) as a medical assistant or related employment
• CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Basic computer skills such as emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to WiFi, etc.
• A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to commute to location(s)

Job Type: Part-time, In-Person

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Experience
