Job summary

Zollege is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join Dothan Medical Assistant School. The role combines medical expertise with mentorship to guide students in hands-on training.

Classes are held primarily on Saturdays from 7:00am to 6:15pm, with some locations offering weekday evenings. Instructors teach in a real clinical setting to develop entry-level medical assisting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years as a medical assistant or related employment.
• CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Basic computer skills (emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, WiFi).
• A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to commute to location(s).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum and using lab stations.
• Demonstrate medical skills and guide students as they practice in the lab.

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll inspire future healthcare professionals by combining your medical expertise with your ability to guide and mentor students through practical, hands-on education.

Instructor Positions

Instructor positions are part-time with classes held primarily on Saturdays between 7:00am - 6:15pm. (Note: teaching schedules may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability. Some locations may offer weekday evening classes).

Our focused, 18-week program is designed to provide accessible, hands-on education to students from all walks of life. Classes take place directly in a doctor’s office rather than in a traditional classroom—allowing students to learn in the environment they will eventually work in. Instructors will use their clinical experience and training to teach our students the skills they need to succeed as entry-level medical assistants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum, which may utilize lab stations.

• Evaluate individual/group performance and make any necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs.

Experience
