Job summary

The role involves supporting providers, maintaining exam rooms, data collection, and patient education, with flexible hours and a mission to improve community health.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Completed training program in Medical Assisting from Accredited College.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt medical support and promote smooth patient flow; collect and record data, maintain exam rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Provide basic education and information to patients; alleviate anxieties and interface with community activities and staff.
• Help ensure patients and families receive needed care when they need it; communicate openly with supervisor and staff.
• Work flexible or extended hours where necessary.
• Participate in staff in-services and meetings; respect others’ ideas; uphold confidentiality.
