Job summary

Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. in Lancaster, CA, is seeking a Medical Assistant II - Certified to provide basic nursing care in the Primary Care Clinic under the supervision of the Licensed Medical Care Provider.

The role supports administrative and clinical tasks, including patient prep, data collection, basic lab tests, bandage application, and assisting during examinations. Shift schedule includes Tue/Thu 10:30am-7:00pm and Wed/Fri/Sat 8am-4:30pm; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Medical Assistant Certification are required.
• 3 months to 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting or completion of Tarzana Treatment Centers internship.

Responsibilities

• Interview, screen, and perform health assessments per established protocols.
• Record observations and patient data during visits.
• Assist in formulation of treatment plans and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as bandage changes, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Support front office duties including scheduling and patient communication.
