Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, injections, medication administration.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform MA II duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
