• Washington MA Certification required upon hire.
• BLS within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months MA experience.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training in medical assisting

Graduate of a medical assistant apprenticeship program

Completed two years of medical training in US Armed Forces

Minimum one year MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration

Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days
