Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and non-clinical duties in the back office.
• Collaborates with front office to maintain accurate medical records and revenue cycle.
• Adheres to immunization and medication administration procedures.
• Performs CLIA testing instructions; collects specimens and documents results in EHR.
• Fulfills provider orders within scope and gives discharge instructions.
• Coordinates continuity of patient care with internal health departments.
• Maintains exam rooms and prepares for patient care and procedures.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards to supervisory staff.
• Interviews patients, records reason for visit and vital signs, documents intake.
• Maintains proper charting and documentation of all patient services.
• Maintains regular attendance and performs other duties as required.
