Providence Health and Services is seeking a Medical Assistant II in California to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. The role requires hands-on clinical capabilities including vital signs, injections, and medication administration, with adherence to established policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited medical assistant program or apprenticeship, plus at least 6 months of healthcare and MA experience.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on clinical training for medical assistants, or completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills: vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare experience.
• Minimum 6 months medical assistant experience.

• The Medical Assistant II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients.
