The ideal candidate has a valid Medical Assistant credential (AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT), current BLS/CPR, 2 years of MA experience (3+ preferred), and proficiency with Epic EMR, vital signs, specimen collection, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with clinical externship.
• Certified or registered Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT) with current BLS/CPR.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a clinical medical assistant (3+ years preferred).
• Skilled in specimen collection, medication administration, vital signs, Epic EMR, and medical office workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under provider and RN supervision.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
• Collect health histories, vital signs, and specimens; document findings in the medical record.
• Coordinate pre-visit documentation, testing, and outreach.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, medical records, and patient service duties.
• Mentor and support new staff and clinical team members.
