Job summary

Responsibilities include collecting data, preparing charts, and ensuring smooth patient experiences. Candidates must meet multiple EM T/MA certifications and have at least 2 years of related experience;

Qualifications

• Certification as a medical assistant or paramedical credential required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience.
• Respiratory fit testing may be required as part of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in a professional, timely, and culturally sensitive manner.
• Communicate appointment status and clinic processes to patients and staff.
• Register patients, verify demographics/insurance, collect fees, and handle billing concerns.
• Coordinate patient flow, rooming, and minimize wait times.
• Review records and prepare documents for visits (labs, imaging, referrals).
• Document patient data and assist in plan of care development.
• Administer medications as directed and document responses.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, testing, and supplies management.
• Collect and transport specimens; perform point-of-care testing per lab procedures.
