The successful candidate will serve the special needs of program participants involved with the behavioral health or criminal justice system who are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Provide medical observation and substance abuse referral. Maintain a safe, cooperative, caring atmosphere. Required to be certified as an EMT, CMA, or CNA and licensed within the State of California, with a current licensure number.

Minimum Qualifications

• One+ year’s experience in alcohol and drug addiction treatment, recovery, or prevention. If in recovery, an approved amount of time in continuous sobriety.
• Certification as a medical assistant, nursing assistant or emergency medical technician within the State of California is required.

This position is for the 3rd shift (overnight) and may include weekends.

NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, TB tested, screened for fitness for duty, and will be subject to clearance by the Department of Justice.
