Qualifications

• Requires Medical Assistant Certification and BLS.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides immunizations and vitals; rooms patients; performs clinical and clerical duties.
• Prepares patients for physician visits; conducts tests; files documents.
• Receives calls; collects patient information; updates records and consents.
• Delivers patient care to assist physicians and nursing staff.
• Delivers quality customer service and maintains quality standards.
• Checks out patients; assists with referrals and lab services.
• Prepares examination rooms and equipment; supports exams.
• Assists with medical treatments and procedures; inventories supplies.
• Manages messages, authorizations, and patient communications.
