Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) is seeking a Medical Assistant II for the Health Care LA IPA grant program at Van Nuys Adult Suite. The role supports non-invasive patient care under a licensed practitioner, while performing administrative and outreach duties and maintaining EMR documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a MA education program, and 3+ years of paid experience with required trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant education program from a public school or approved MA program.
• Must have at least 3 years of paid experience and complete required trainings.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; mandatory Medical Interpretation course at NEVHC.

Responsabilités

• Perform non-invasive routine technical patient care under supervision.
• Assist with administrative, clinical, and outreach activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and effectively use EMR to document patient information and schedule appointments.
