Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our primary care team. You will assist physicians with patient examinations, collect vitals, prepare exams, document in the electronic health record, and support patient experience.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00am to 5:30pm, 7 paid holidays plus 1 personal holiday, comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match, PTO, and opportunities for growth in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Completed Medical Assisting program or certification/registration.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and ability to maintain credentials.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM and familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Record patient vitals, histories, and prepare exam rooms.
• Enter data into the EHR and manage patient flow to ensure quality care.

You will be responsible for top notch Patient Experience for every patient that walks into the office. You will be assisting in examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician, ARNP or PA by collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care.Millennium will provide you with ample training. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
