Qualifications

The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting clinicians and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. The position is responsible for assisting with clinical and administrative tasks, including patient check‑in/out, vital signs collection, chart preparation, and escorting patients to exam rooms.

Employment Details

• Hourly Rate: $16.00 – $23.00
• Employment Type: Full‑time
• Locations: Various U.S. sites (e.g., Fullerton, CA – Orange, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Downey, Costa Mesa, West Covina, El Monte)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatment of patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Collect and record vital signs and other clinical data.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, pull notes, and manage documentation prior to patient visits.
• Escort patients to and from examination rooms and provide patient education on procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of surgical patients by performing routine and delegated duties according to established standards and policies.
• Support medical staff with routine tasks during clinical and administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program or national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
• Experience with medical insurance and referral processes.
