Job summary

CareMore Health Management Services, LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant in Las Vegas to support clinicians with patient examinations, prepare charts, document vital signs, and assist with procedures under physician direction.

You will provide front and back office support, greet patients, manage check-in/out, schedule appointments, and help ensure accurate records and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current and valid Medical Assistant certificate / certification from an accredited training program required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required, depending on location or patient population.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.

  • Support patient check-out by scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-payments when applicable, and ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Reconcile co-payments at the end of each day in accordance with clinic procedures.

Job Description Summary The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting clinicians and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This position is responsible for assisting with clinical and administrative functions that promote efficient care delivery, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience. By serving as a key connection between patients, providers, and care teams, the Medical Assistant helps ensure smooth clinic operations and supports the overall effectiveness of the care center.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Efficiency & Workflow Management Effectively manages patient flow, scheduling, and appointment confirmations. Balances front- and back-office responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Follows established protocols and workflows to support smooth clinic operations.
  • Professionalism & Confidentiality Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards. Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and ethical behavior. Adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation Range: $20.00 to $31.50 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
