Christiana Care Primary Care at Springside in Glasgow, Delaware, seeks a Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, prepare patients for visits, perform basic clinical tasks, and maintain exam rooms and equipment. The role includes managing EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties and supporting video visits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or MA certification by an NCCA/ANSI-accredited body.

ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside is in Glasgow, Delaware. ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside provides comprehensive primary medical care services for both adults and children. The practice offers various healthcare services, including gynecology and women’s health, immunizations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, on-site lab services are available to facilitate patient care and enhance diagnostic efficiency.

As aMedical Assistant I you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Work Schedule:

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30am – 7pm
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am – 5pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities:

TheMedical Assistant Igreets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
