ChristianaCare's Concord Health Center in Chadds Ford, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks, assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms. The role coordinates EMR updates and scheduling while supporting patient portal access.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person, preparing them for visits and assisting with care.
• Perform basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assist with exams, and maintain exam rooms and equipment.

Primary Care at Concord Health Center is a growing family practice located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Primary Care at Concord is home to a dynamic team of Physicians, APCs, Registered Nurses, 5 Medical Assistants and Office Assistants.

Work Schedule

Monday from 7am to 7pm

Tuesday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm

Friday from 7am to 4:30pm

No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range

$19.48 - $28.24

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
