Job summary

Covenant Health in Lubbock, TX is hiring an Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) to support licensed practitioners with basic patient care through administrative and clinical duties.

The position requires MA training or apprenticeship, plus BLS within 30 days. A $2,000 sign-on bonus may apply for eligible hires; benefits and competitive compensation accompany the role. On-site, day shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a school with hands-on clinical medical assistant training or an accredited MA apprenticeship.
• Alternative: two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces or one year in a similar MA role with clinical skills.
• Within 30 days of hire, must obtain National Provider BLS from American Heart Association.
• Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioners by performing basic patient care under supervision.
