Job summary

Qualifications

  • AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • New hires and promotions after October 5th, 2025, will require graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
  • TB validated or validation obtained within 6 months of hire may be required.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
  • Obtain and document vital signs.
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform clinical duties and assist with patient care.
  • Maintain EMR files and perform general front office functions as needed.
