Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or competency assessment with two years of on-the-job training.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts daily and participate in daily huddles with the provider.
• Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and document in the e-HR per SOP.
• Administer injections and medications as prescribed and in accordance with protocol.
• Assist with procedures and exams designated by the provider.
• Perform tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, hearing, and vision tests as requested.
• Collect blood or other specimens and prepare for analysis.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for next patient.
• Support care coordination to promote continuity of care among team members.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and care quality.
