ChristianaCare's Endocrinology practice at MAP II, Newark is seeking a professional, dependable Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care.

The Medical Assistant I greets patients, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs), manages EMR updates, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties and assisting with video

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of MA program or MA Certification by a national org (NCCA/ANSI).

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person; prepare for visits; perform basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs); assist with exams and maintain exam rooms.
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; handle clerical duties and support video visits.
