UNC Health Care in Lenoir, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant I, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic. You will work under clinical supervision to assist providers and the health care team, performing rooming, data collection, vitals, med history reviews, and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, specimen collection, EMR documentation, patient education, and coordinating registrations and referrals.

Summary:
The Medical Assistant I, Certified provides routine clinical and administrative support to providers and other health care team members in an outpatient clinic setting. The Medical Assistant I, Certified works under the clinical supervision of the provider for patient care activities, and under the general direction of the designated manager/supervisor for non-clinical responsibilities.
