UNC Health Medical Group in Eden, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant I, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic. You will work under the supervision of the provider for patient care and under a manager for non-clinical duties.
Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting vital signs, assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy and EKGs, and coordinating tests and referrals. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Summary:
The Medical Assistant I, Certified provides routine clinical and administrative support to providers and other health care team members in an outpatient clinic setting. The Medical Assistant I, Certified works under the clinical supervision of the provider for patient care activities, and under the general direction of the designated manager/supervisor for non-clinical responsibilities.
