Job summary

Inland Imaging Associates, LLC in Spokane, WA, is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide support during patient's admission and recovery at Holy Family Outpatient Based Imaging Center. This supplemental position fills in for staff on vacation or sick leave and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule during the day shift.

The ideal candidate will interface with patients, work closely with healthcare providers, and ensure smooth operations in the department. Candidates must have a High School diploma and be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, with previous experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is a must.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during patient admit and recovery.

Base Pay Range:$18.06 - $27.09Job Description:The Medical Assistant is a Supplemental position filling in for vacation and sick calls at Holy Family Outpatient Based Imaging Center. Clinic is open Monday-Friday day shift. This position is eligible for a 12% supplemental differentialSummary: Works under the direction of the OBIC RN. Assists physicians and nurses with admit and recovery of all OBIC patients. Helps facilitate efficient department flow by assisting all departments within the OBIC with patient care and unit needs. Takes patient’s history and vital signs, performs additional duties as trained and assigned. Assists in examinations and procedures when requested. Interacts with the providers, other departments within Inland Imaging, patients and family members and outside contacts with care and compassion. Participates in OBIC team meetings and learning opportunities, displays willingness to perform new tasks and responsibilities.Essential Duties / Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
