Job summary

Dupont Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, support nurses and doctors, and help track tests and lab reports to ensure timely information for patients. You will also manage medical supplies and assist with setting up machines and cleaning instruments.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, an interest in the medical environment, and prior office experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• BLS certification or CMA desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
