Job summary

Erie Family Health Centers seeks Medical Assistants to support patient care in our Chicago area clinics. The role provides routine clinical and clerical support, with opportunities for growth through a defined career ladder and merit-based increases.

Part-time, 20 hours per week, with competitive pay starting at $19/hr plus a $0.50/hr premium for Registered MAs, plus sign-on bonuses and annual incentives. Erie offers full benefits, 401(k) with employer matching, and PTO/paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Medical Assistant program required.
• Successful completion of 160-hour MA Externship required or Completion of BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Responsibilities

• Assists medical professional staff by performing routine patient care, laboratory procedures and clerical procedures to support the delivery of patient care.
• Monitors patient flow by assuring that clients are serviced promptly and effectively.
• Prepares examination rooms ensuring that rooms are clean, orderly and properly stocked with supplies for use during exams.
