Job summary

The ideal candidate has an accredited Medical Assistant program and 0–1 year of experience, strong interpersonal skills, basic computer proficiency, and a commitment to patient service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–1 year experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• BCLS certification required (AHA/ARC/ASHI).

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive medical procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before patient visits.
• Handle patient intake, document results, and triage calls.
• Maintain daily logs and accurate documentation.
• Support administrative duties: pre-register patients, schedule, referrals, insurance checks.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to patients and staff.
