Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy practice. The role involves assisting with examinations, taking vital signs, interviewing patients, drawing blood, and preparing specimens for analysis. A pay range of $20.02–$26.03 per hour is provided, with experience-based variation.

Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent, and one of MA, CNA, LPN, EMT licenses. BLS/other certifications may be required, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following licenses/certifications: MA, CNA, LPN, EMT.
• HIPAA/OSHA compliance required.
• Professional, organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in examination and treatment of patients under supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs and record data.
• Draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
