Heart and Vascular Care in Cumming, GA is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

This role involves full triage, taking vitals and EKGs, updating patient information and chart prep; occasional travel between HVC offices may be required. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM–5PM, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Dependable team player
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Certification within six months if not already certified (CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)

Responsibilities

• Full triage
• Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
• EKG's
• Recording and updating patient information
• Chart prep
• Medication refills
• Some travel between HVC offices to cover for PTO/sick leave; mileage reimbursed
