Job summary

ExperCare Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Madison, AL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic.

You will perform triage, vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections, and assist providers with procedures, while supporting occupational medicine services.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service and strong communication skills.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for licensure).

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing
• Perform venipuncture and injections
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.)
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment
