Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years as Medical Assistant in healthcare settings
• MA certifications (CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA) or Nursing/LPN/LVN or EMT/Paramedic within hire
• CPOE certification within 2 weeks of hire if MA cert not obtained, BLS required at hire

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance, collect co-pays, schedule appointments
• Conduct vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height)
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with specimen collection and point-of-care testing
• Maintain medical records and ensure clean, stocked exam areas
• Answer calls and assist with patient flow and referrals
• Perform duties as assigned and ensure quality QA/maintenance

Skills
